Shenzhen is an ideal day trip destination just across the border from Hong Kong. It is a general consensus that Shenzhen is Hong Kong's backyard, and shopping in the Lo Wu Shopping Mall is a favorite pastime for the Hong Kong people. The mall is filled with shops selling designer brand name products, beauty shops for massages and manicures, tailors and exquisite restaurants.
We will first visit the landmark of Shekou city - The legend of NUWA, goddess of creation in China.
GREEN GREAT WALL MANGROVE
Futianb Mangrove Natural Protection Area is the first and only one country level urban natural protection area in China at present. This is China's largest area of mangrove, and owns unique ecological tourism resources integrating woods, birds, water, fishes and beaches as a whole.
LO WU SHOPPING
A visit to the Lo Wu Shopping Mall will give you opportunities not only to shop but also to bargain. You may enjoy choosing your favourites from a large variety of goods and bargaining with local shop (approx. 4 hours, dinner at guests own arrangement and expense). What you need is a shopping list. Remember to bring adequate cash and an extra pair of helping hands.
You will be guided to visit an arts and crafts souvenir store where one can appreciate hand-crafted ornaments from a vast variety of mineral stones.
Depart from Shenzhen to Hong Kong by first-class train at approximately 2100 hours and transfer back to your hotel.
