The Tin Hau Festival celebrates the birthday of Tin Hau, also known as the Queen of Heaven and Goddess of the Sea. Celebrated on the 23rd day of the third month of the lunar calendar, this year's Tin Hau Festival falls on 25th April 2011 (Monday). Tour starts at Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree, it is followed by the Tin Hau Festival Celebrations at Yuen Long Stadium. And finally ends at Tin Hau Temple at Tai Shu Ha. |

It is followed by the Tin Hau Festival celebrations at Yuen Long Stadium. In the reserved seating area, you will watch a colourful procession of dragon dances, lion dances, Chinese acrobats, floats and other performances. |

Visit Tin Hau Temple at Tai Shu Ha where you'll see a display of elaborate and giant far pau (floral wreath), which villager believe will bring good luck and protection. |
